An exhaust emission measurement device was installed in the workshop of Iğdır University Vocational School of Technical Sciences, Automotive Programme, Department of Motor Vehicles and Transportation Technologies. With the device installed, exhaust gas analysis measurements of gasoline, lpg and diesel engines will be carried out and students will be able to receive practical training in this field. With the device installed, smoke darkness in diesel engine vehicles, CO, CO2, O2 gases and HC measurements can be made in gasoline lpg vehicles.
Engine cleaning will be done with hydrogen generator With the efforts of our University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı Alma, engine cleaning operations can be carried out with the hydrogen generator donated to our University by the Taiwanese Epoch Representative company. Exhaust gas measurement values of vehicles with high values are improved in emission values by performing engine cleaning with hydrogen gas.
